October :: My Dreaded CompanyIn the darkest hour of the night, My pounding feet splash through watery mirrors. Soaked by the cloud’s tears, I flee the hurricane, Which is tinted with shades of fear and loneliness. Entering my wretched home, I enclose myself in my room. No one is there, No form of light will work only darkness surrounds. March :: Forest WhispersI squirm through the underbrush The breeze slips its fingers through my hair. I dash to an opening And stop dead in my tracks. A doe lingers in the circle Nibling the tips of grass blades. She flicks her ears slightly As the doves coo from the trees. I stare in wonder at the animal As the wind toys with my clothes. Peace, she looks me in the eye. Her soft brown ones Meeting my hard green ones. She wasn't scared of me Even when I moved in closer. Peace then lay in the grass. And I lay down next to her.
